Warwick Memorial -- Koinonia

Koinonia (pronounced "Koin" "o" "nia") is a Greek word that Paul used to describe the deep, abiding fellowship that he felt with the early Christian church. Our koinonia applies God's word to our life experiences and offers young adults a chance to start or continue on their faith walk.

Sunday School Discussion: Current Events and Living Our Faith

Bible Study Format for Young Adult Koinonia (YAK) - The young adults meet in small groups for a weekly Bible Study. This is a great way for anyone between 18-30 to get plugged in with other young adults. This format allows us to study and share in our faith walk and provides us with the a place to discuss issues relevant to our age group. The groups are purposely small in number (4-8) but huge in spiritual opportunity! We also meet once a month as a large group. Let's continue to encourage each other as we grow in Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

Our social gatherings have included picnics, camping, beach days, gym nights and our most popular "we're hanging out" nights.

Mission projects include serving at the Peninsula Rescue Mission, gleaning, and Panera Bread Operation Doughnation
