Dear Church…
A page dedicated to letters from our class to “the Church”
You’re always there for me when I need you and I would like to take the opportunity to thank you. Thank you for being there to worship God with me, thank you for being there when my family needs support during the death of a loved one. Thank you for helping me raise a son to know the love of God. Thank you for the smiles as I walk down the halls. Thank you for the friendships that bring a smile to my face. Thank you for helping me grow in my faith through both worship service and Sunday School. You hold a very special place in my heart.
Love, Gloria
Dear Church,
I love you.
Thank you for letting me be a part of you.
Thank you for being a part of me.
But I do wonder……
Why do you spend so much time doing “church” stuff but so little time loving others?
Hmmm……
Why do I not answer your call because I am too busy?
“
Why do you never do altar calls or offer the gift of salvation?
Hmmm…..
Why do I never talk about the gospel to the people I see need it?
Why do you not have a disciple program to grow new Christians?
Hmmm…..
Why do I fail to come beside my new brother or sister in Christ to encourage them?
Why aren’t you perfect, as Christ is perfect?
Hmmm…..
Why am I like I am if I was made in his image?
Dear Church,
I love you.
Thank you for letting me be a part of you.
Thank you for being a part of me.
